That’s probably my most favorite Rolex look ever!

This has been my experience in wearing NATO's/G10's for over 30 years and they are great if set up right.
There a couple of ways to do them depending on the number of rings. They can make a watch seem tall and massive. You can feed over and through to expose the rings either side of the watch, or hide them away. Personal choice. The way the strap is back fed through the loops also affects the appearance of the watch on the wrist. Take into account how long you leave the ends. See plenty of watches that have far to much length on the strap. Positioning of the watch on the webbing during set up affects look and feel. Also they have to be the right diameter for the lugs otherwise you get bunching at the lugs which makes for not a good fit or look. Same applies to too thin, watch is sloppy to wear. The material also defines the type of watch that it suits. Found that on heavier models, if you use a thin G10 then the watch seems to be top heavy and sort of flops. However a waterborne or Zulu type of webbing supports a heavier watch Match the tool for job i suppose. Just my personal views and experience over the years. Each to their own i say. |

A nato strap should never be put on a Rolex.

The right NATO will make an otherwise boring watch pop. Just a trial and error as to which NATO will do the trick for your specific watch and tastes.

Opinions of NATO straps aside, I’m not a fan of $16 fake buckles supporting the counterfeiting trade.

Looks pretty good. Generally I’m not a huge nato/Rolex guy except for maybe s 5-digit sub. But that looks pretty good.

Pretty pictures but still haven't seen a NATO I'd be tempted to actually wear.
