Sounds like you were smart. I got 5% off my white dial 5711 in 2015 and 10% off my 5167 in 2014. 10% off 5164 in 2017.

Maybe don't release info to the media pre release date then.
Stahl has done this year after year. It's not a shock. I don't think patek cares at all. It's the social media warriors who care. If patek cared they would stop doing it pre release.

What is he talking about? Patek just changes dial colors, case material and sometimes throws in some bling and new releases for the upcoming year are ready to go…
Maybe a huge effort for a full workday in the life of a Patek designer |

It’s probably more than that but who cares it’s just watches - not like something of national security interest has been leaked. That’s a sign to me that these Ads take themselves too seriously. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

It’s not the first time this has happened. If Patek wanted to avoid it from happening, it wouldn’t have happened. If they can’t keep it shut till release day, get some advice from Rolex. They seem to have it under wraps. |

In fairness, this launch seemed less like years of commitment and more like a meeting or two. Pretty underwhelmed, but not surprised given the release of a new model line later this year.
Interested in seeing RHC but there are gaps in the model ranges - like a successor to the 5196 - that flummox me. |

Confirmed. AD's have a statement from Patek concerning the release of the piece. I struggle a little to understand the choice of name. Previous sports pieces have clearly had an underwater theme with Neptune, Nautilus and Aquanaut but now we have Cubitus. So far I haven't found a meaning or inspiration for the name that makes any sense regarding its use for a sports watch.
'the arm from the elbow to the fingertips' seems to be the about the most logical meaning since it's clearly where a watch is worn but pretty tenuous. |

Nothing new but saw this in K2 Luxury website ~
The Patek Philippe Cubitus, set for release in October 2024, will mark the brand’s latest venture into the world of sporty timepieces. Anticipated to complement the famed Nautilus and Aquanaut lines, the Cubitus will embody a fusion of Patek Philippe’s classic elegance with a bold, athletic design. This watch is expected to feature time and date and perhaps chronograph complication showcasing the brand’s commitment to evolving in the luxury sports watch segment. The Cubitus is poised to become a new emblem of sophistication and style, broadening Patek Philippe’s appeal and setting a new benchmark in high-end sports watches. I want one if it is not bigger than 40mm. |
