expandable rivet bracelets
What are people's thoughts on expandable rivet bracelets? Are they comfortable to wear? Do they pinch arm hair?
I think I'd prefer a non-expandable rivet bracelet, but was just wondering about people's thoughts on the matter. |

Personally I love them. They pinch hair if you are very hairy and if you wear your watches tight. If there’s some air in-between they fit like a normal bracelet and just look the bomb since they don’t have any stretch.

I like the Swiss versions, I have never worn the C&I.
They are comfortable if sized correctly but do occasionally pull on your arm hair. |

I have a 1955 Datejust with an expandable bracelet, I have always found it very comfortable.

Hate em. They not only pinch hair but pinch your bare skin.

OK - good to know. I'm a pretty furry individual, so that's probably not going to fly.
Is it true that Rolex made rivet bracelets that aren't expandable. I really like the look. |

The 7206 with 20mm end link width is the best choice and they are not cheap and quite expensive. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Did a quick ebay search. Looks like they're retailing around 3k. Yes, not cheap. Pretty cool though!

I have one on a '67 Sub while comfortable, the watch can move a bit on the wrist. The links have to expand enough to fit snug on the wrist and not too tight. If you flick your wrist too fast (golf swing, punching), the watch will rotate.

Err.. yeah, they'll only pinch your hair, if you have hair...
They stopped making them decades ago for a reason, and that's probably it.
