How do I know if I have a genuine rolex

Hi, I have been given a very old looking watch . At first glance I thought it was ugly and a bit of tat , on closer inspection I noticed it said Rolex on it but the weight is very light so I'm thinking it's fake , it has numbers on the bracelet and the back is hinged, when I opened it I was surprised to see it still working!! Is it a fake ????

Based on the picture and all of the numbers that you have provided I would say, maybe.

Looking at the same pictures I'd say it's a fake.

All joking aside Angela......you would want to post a photo or two of the watch. That is the best way to determine what you have exactly. click on the paperclip and upload a photo or two from you phone. Good luck.

Seeing as the picture is now removed, This topic is now in a more appropriate sub-forum.

It can be authentic and it can also be fake.
