Thank you for the comments, I've got to say I can't take my eyes off this watch, it's absolutely stunning. Such a great combo of colours and materials, would recommend it to anyone thinking of pulling the trigger.

A couple of answers I missed -

(1) no there was no discount available from the AP boutique and I was lucky to get it as it was already reserved but the guy said he would wait for the next one to come in, so I got it!

(2) my wrist size is approx 7.5 I think. Can't quite remember.

Congrats once again. I think this is the nicest of the new 44mm ROOs.

I never make impulse purchases normally, but was so impressed by this watch that I just went for it. I think the price is very good too, or at least it is significantly better than I expected - and its not often you flip over the little price tag on an AP and have a nice surprise!

Here are a few photos taken on iPhone, I tried to use a good camera the later photos but I was too close to focus properly. Oh well, gives an idea!

Stop posting pictures! I'm tempted to switch back to the CE from my RG order now. But I must resist.

The new CE44 is nicer than the new RG44 IMHO. Cheaper as well. And anti-scratch. And lighter and more comfortable. Go for it!

Well to be honest. When I had the anthracite CE, I thought it was maybe a little too understated. That's why I decided to go for the RG. I may change my mind. Hopefully when I go to new york boutique on the weekend of the 11th they have all the watches for me to see in person.

And if I want to go understated ceramic, I rather have the CE diver to be honest. It's thinner, lighter, smaller, cheaper, holds value way better. Pretty much accomplishes it all.

Plus I just want some gold in my watch lol. I haven't owned a gold watch yet. I'm getting either the RO ROC or RO 15400st later this year too. So I'll have a steel RO/ROC, so I figured I need a good gold watch as well. For under 35k, Idk a better gold watch than the 44 RG.

That's a good plan. But for 35K, you have quite a number of options.

I am also contemplating adding this new CE44. At first glance, even when wrapped-in-plastic, it looks very impressive. But I need to take a second look. Another complication for me is that I already own the Ceramic Diver. It seems kind of overkill to have two AP ceramic watches.

Impulse purchase? LOL - you are a lucky man if you can buy these on impulse.

Congrats
