126710blnr Batgirl or 126622YM 40
So my 40th bday is coming up and I am having a hard time trying to decide between these two references. Both beautiful watches but wanted to see if I could get some opinions from TRF members with either or both. Is the weight difference or size a noticeable difference? Any other pros or cons? This watch would go in rotation with my Panerai pam01392 and datejust 41 126331. Either way I am pumped! Thanks in advance.

YM - better looking (imo) and less common than the Batgal, plus you already have a Rolex on Jubilee.

I'll also go against the pack and say get a Yacht-Master. Less ordinary and more variety than the eternally bruised Batgirl/man/whatever. They wear considerably differently as well so make certain to try both on.

I have both. Most on here will tell you BLNR but I will tell you that the YM blue is truly special. It has more pizzazz than the BLNR yet can be worn casually. While I love my BLNR, I would hold the YM in high regard too. Good luck on your choice.

YM blue. The BLNR is the more affordable option. Let's face it, that is why SS is so popular.

I hate the name Batgirl. Nice watch though but I really like that YM so would be a tough call on that one. Wouldn't pay daft overs on a BLNR though so my shout is for YM.

I used to recommend the BLNR but after trying the YM Blue in person, I would say go for the YM

126710blnr Batgirl or 126622YM 40
I’d go ym40 between the two of them because I find the gmt a tad too large for me. I went dj36 in the end though as my daily.

Positives for YM -- stunning dial and has PM Worries about YM - scratching the bezel and PCLs (how will it look over time) Positives for BLNR - more interesting movement; jubilee hides scratches and ceramic bezel looks factory fresh in the future (I got mine July 17, 2019 and it still looks new); jubilee is also more comfortable |

If this would be your first sports model, I'd say to go with the BLNR. Although the 116622 with the Rhodium dial is so beautiful in person, that it would really be a toss up. If you have an opportunity to try both, then I say do it before you buy. You can't go wrong with either.
