So £16k to c. £24k. Let’s see eh? I think it might be less than that, but maybe I’m underestimating the demand.

But he said "out the gate then gradually cooling" but even with cooling I think it will always be a high premium demand will always be there

My conservative estimate at medium term is in the range 5-10K.

We just need to wait till 2022 and we will see if the predictions are accurate.

Here, our prediction is holding

https://www.chrono24.com/omega/omega...id17702241.htm

They have 3 watches. Omega needs to check this closely!

Agree, it would be better to have real pics. But many of their listings are like that.

Anyway, the big question is: did Omega just created a good “hot steel” reference?

This is not a limited edition (great move to me... as I don’t want this to Become like the AXI 50)
Nobody will know how many snoopy are around.
Price will be dictated by demand and offer and Omega will control production.

So, the value should at least stay in the 5-10K range.

Here last update

https://www.chrono24.com/omega/omega...id17839870.htm

Above 20K premium at them moment.
It will go down... but, it’s pretty substantial I would say.

Second Chrono one..also $33k

https://www.chrono24.com/omega/omega...id17846214.htm

Like it or not if they keep appearing at this price that will set the precedent like any commodity

Yep and the second one is a real watch too.
No "fake pictures".
At the moment premium is insane, but probably comparable to what happened after the release of the AXI 50.
It should go down a bit, but it's depends on the the number of flippers.
I hope they will be limited... Omega boutiques really need to be careful with these pieces.

yes, although nobody is perfect...
Rolex is milking the sub 50th anniversary with a special "green" piece since 2003.

I agree, but whatever Omega is doing with this Snoopy is certainly working building the brand. Rolex will always be Rolex but lots are done with the AD games and turning nto Omega for the simple fact that the watches are great and you can actually buy them.

Back to the topic in hand, if I had to guess I can see the Snoopy settling around $15-20k is my guess.

Couldn't agree more.

My prediction was >10 K with a possible drop after the first year.

In the long term a steady premium around 15K might be possible. It all depends on the rate of production and the flippers.

I'm monitoring the shops on 47th street, as of yesterday no Snoopy there.
Plenty of subs (like 5 or 6 LVs), pepsi, and a couple of white face daytona.

85% of voters believe this reference will have a premium.
Although it’s early, I think it’s becoming clear that the Snoopy will not sell at discount, ever.

People convinced that they will find this from their AD with the usual 15% off, didn’t really understand this reference. Same as people saying they will not go on the official list because within one year the snoopy 3 will be so easy to find.

This is probably the hottest reference Omega put on the market in the past 5 years.

I recall reading that a few times in posts. Ask any sales associate at a AD or OB they will tell you they've never seen this much buzz around a Omega.

Untill one actually sells on Chrono24 all those crazy prices mean nothing. I still think it'll settle around $20k give or take.

Is there a way of seeing confirmed sales prices on chrono? We could say the same about the 50k snoopy 2's

I don’t think there is any way to confirm the price a watch was sold, as it’s possible to make an offer below the asking price, and the owner can decide to accept it.
the final price stays between the people doing the transaction.

I see your point, I don’t believe there are any Snoopy 2 really sold at 50K, as I don’t think there are many (or any) 116500LN truly sold at 36K.
For sure there are sellers that are putting them out with those prices.

Asked price and real reselling value might differ greatly.

But in the end if somebody is stupid rich, really really wants that reference now, and doesn’t care about getting played like a “chicken” by the seller... he might even pay a non sense price on a steel white face Daytona.

So of the three that were for sale..one has now gone. A second now says 'price on request' so out of interest I messaged seller to ask how much to get the reply that the piece is now reserved pending payment..so it look's like 3 are about to become 1 and they are selling. He also confirmed when it's simply reserved that means at the full ask. On the first sold, I'd wager it wasn't going to be too far off the asking price or the seller's wouldn't agree to sell this early

Yep, the one in Germany is gone.
The one in MC were asking above 30K yesterday. It seems they are doing some negotiation in the background, but it was on the market for what, 48-72 hrs?
I cannot imagine that the seller is so desperate that they are letting go the Snoopy for much less then the asking price.

being reserved does not necessarily mean at the full ask. It means when the buyer and seller have agreed a price and the monies are being processed prior to sale. What price would the ‘price on request’ be reserved at in that case?

To your other point, I’d wager that if someone had offered double list straight off the bat they’d have sold given no one knows how many they’ll make and how quickly. Still, I’m guessing and so are you....

Agreed, we are all speculating..but the one fact we can say for sure is they ARE selling which is interesting

Indeed - but I guess there’s enough demand and enough people who want the first to make it plausible. If Daytona’s can go for £20/22k then why not?

Please don't forget that there are lot of Bitcoin dollars that are available to those who want to speculate.

They stand to lose 10K if pricing of Snoopy 3 falls a bit but they also stand to make 10K if the pricing takes off more as the demand stands to be there.

A quick 10K is worth the risk to those who have "excess" sitting idle and has come with relative ease.

Another popped up in Germany. 25K.
is the second over there

https://www.chrono24.com/omega/omega...id17901670.htm

Omega Boutiques are giving some out to resellers and flippers. This is really annoying.
