5396 Strap
Hi there.
For those that own or have handled both a 5146 and 5396G-011, are the strap thicknesses and looks the same? I've only handled a 5146 and none of my ADs have had a 5396 in a while. I've always really liked the 5146 strap. It's on the thicker side and feels premium. I can't tell if the 5396 is thinner with a different style. Thanks in advance. |

Don’t know about the thickness but yeah the 5396 is shiny , 5146 is mate. It would make sense that the 5396 strap is thinner

Thanks Jorge. And I guess that makes sense as the 5396 presents dressier than the 5146.
If I did get a 5396 is will be worm in a more casual manner (since that's pretty much how it is for me essentially everyday.) |

I just received a 5396g with an alligator strap. And it is thick closer to the lug (a little more than 4 mm); so it does not easily follow the curve of the side of my wrist when I first received it. It is slowly adjusting.

Thanks danicasi. This is good to hear. Overtime I'm sure that the strap will conform nicely to your wrist.
