I am new to PAM. Want to own one, not sure which model is good to be kept.

Go for the PAM000- It's the logo model. You can't go wrong. They may be a bit difficult to come by. I believe they only make 900 a year.

Well, first of all to decide which Panerai you want, answer the following questions and then that will narrow it down.

Radiomir or Luminor case?
Chronograph function?
Date Function needed?
GMT function needed?
Manaul wind or automatic?
Need an inhouse movement, or ETA V. 7750 or Unitas simple movement OK?
Stainless Steel or Titanium?

Answer those questions and that will narrow it down for you.
Bracelet or Leather Strap?

I have the Pam 90 and it is a beautiful watch.
Looks good on the wrist and i have gotten a lot of compliments from friends and strangers.

111 or 112 for manual...104 or 164 for auto..and the 88 for auto GMT!!
