A special thank you to all attending. It was a very special meeting with some very special people. We will do so in the future again !!
The collection on the table was just mindboggling !! Paul, who attended from the UK.You will always be welcome in these parts of the woods !! Looking forward to meeting you again !! Marcello,a walking databank on watch movements.Amazing !! Lovely vintage Airking !! Willem, just LOVE that "Fiddy" 127 of yours !! Fantastic watch. Malcolm, despite being sick, dragged himself to the meeting ...and I am shure you are glad you did !! I think that 104 is on its way !! Kevin,a most respected colleague of mine ! Kevin, being a Rolex man himself, could just not believe the passion and enthusiasm, surrounding Panerai as a brand.Next time you bring that white ss Daytona with !! Richard, thanks for attending.Special friendship you have with Paul, best friends from the age of 14,attending boarding school in the UK. Joe,next time bring some more of your fantastic IWC,Jaeger and PAMs with.We havent seen those yet !! Oresti, the perfect gentleman.Thank you so much for hosting the evening for us.Very much appreciated !! Faiyaz, missed you !! Pity you were sick and couldnt travel, but I think after we called you and sent you those cellphone pics, you were REALLY sick when you saw what you missed out on !!! Thanks TRF members for viewing my report !! Hope you enjoyed it !! |

Had some great food !! Held at a private booth,at Tribes,Emperors Palace. The combined passion that these guys share for watches are just amazing.Boggles the mind, really. Quite a substantial collection of watches "on the table".It was a great thrill seeing a 203 and a 201/A "in the metal" for the first time. Thanks to Paul for bringing those very collectable and sought after watches from the UK. |

Thanks for a peek at great event. Wow, what a table shot or group of them!
I heard a rumour that Jassies had sold his 203, glad it's not true. |
