Your Car Parked in Snow...

...Just wondering, for those who Do Not have a garage, when your car is parked on the street..and its Not your daily 'Ride', ..what do you do with that snow ..??
Do you leave the snow covering your car and wait until things thaw, or do you remove the snow as much as possible, until weather or temps start to thaw things out..??
Food for thought...!
My thinking is get the snow off as much as possible and I usually lift my wipers off the windshield ..
What do you guys do...!??

My suggestion is to clean it up as much as you can at every snow storm. You never know when you may need it or need to move it. Moreover a plow may not see the marker you left and in general the vehicle may look abandoned and attract the wrong attention. Ultimately I do not think that the weight will affect the suspensions but that is something to consider.

I do prefer to clean off the snow as much as possible.. I'd rather not have all that snow, to soon be water, sitting on my/her sunroof and other body parts.
Best to clean everything off as best as possible, then let the weather take its course...!

Our daily drivers are parked outside, the garage is reserved for old cars and motorcycles. I clean the cars off daily, even if we're not going anywhere, I have to move them anyway for the snowplower.

If I waited for it to "thaw" I'd be waiting for months.

Both of mine are garage kept. Before that, I would remove the snow off the car, as soon as the storm was over.

Our cars are always garaged. I haven't had to worry about snow on them for many years (at least 40 now).

That kind of nonsense is what pushed me over the edge to move out of Boston to the south. I had to dig out from similar 4 times in one winter. I'm guessing that was a good 2-3 hours of shoveling, maybe more. The best part is when you leave the spot is nice and clean for someone else to take.

The heat in Houston has downsides, but shoveling it isn't one.

Little over an hour and a half but it got worse when I got to where I was going.
