9001 movement is dumbproof, just like other Rolex movement. The date/local hour/home time can be adjusted forward and backward anytime unlike Patek.

That’s the charm and ingenuity of Rolex movement. Bulletproof yet dumbproof.

Looks great! Congrats.
Would you have been brave(or crazy)enough to take pics driving over the old bridge?

I don't plan on keeping it on a winder, but even though i said I wasn't taking it off, I will eventually. I'll probably just re-set it every time I put it on after extended periods of not wearing it. It's kind of fun to set.

Haha, probably not! I saw a lot of wrecks happen on that crazy narrow deathtrap of a bridge.

Thanks for the kind sentiments, everyone.

By the way, the AD has a two-tone white dial Sky Dweller that they can't seem to unload -- as well as several sport models, GMT Master II, Sub, I think they have an older Sea Dweller, several DJs II and 41, and YM II if anyone is making their way to Charelston, SC. They weren't really interested in selling remotely. PM for the name (I think that's allowed on the forum? If not, mods delete!).

Good to know- thank you! Ive talked with more than one GMT owner that didn't know how to align the 24 hour hand with the watch hands and the SD is a whole other level.

Id love to see a SD in the steel (or PM). I've wanted one since I read about them in Watch Time December 2013. I still have the magazine on my desk.

It's an MP I bought off eBay about 10y ago, and it's in pristine condition. I think I paid around $2,300. It's a beautiful machine. Honestly, though, I sadly don't use it much--mostly rely on my M240 for the convenience.

Congratulations! That white dial looks so nice and can easily go dressy or casual. These Sky-D threads are about to cost me some $$! Lol

Lo and behold 5 days later it's on the wrist. I love it.
Couple early wrist shots...we have a thing to go to, but I wanna take more with my good camera and lenses later.

Driving over the Ravenel Bridge in Charleston, SC, and downtown for the evening.
