Would there be a problem bringing a watch back to the US, that was purchased in the US?

Do we have to declare a watch when we return from a trip that was purchased and carried out of the US?

You keep posting about this. Stop being so terrified.

If you didn’t purchase it abroad you have nothing to worry about.

Ask the CBP officers if you are unsure. They are there to help you. I have declared watches and other gifts many times and have yet to pay a cent.
