Day-Date 118238 with Champagne or Silver Dial

A couple weeks ago I posted a poll asking this same question except champagne vs green. Out of that poll I discovered Green was not for me but someone suggested silver as an alternative and now I知 still struggling with a decision. Both of these dials seem absolutely amazing to me but I just can稚 pick one! Help me out with a vote if you have time. :)

I voted champagne but silver would be my second choice. Could certainly live with either. I have a champagne tapestry 18238 and love it. Congrats in advance!

Thanks for the feedback! I think silver wins. Next question.. with or without dial diamonds?? The baguette diamonds at 6 and 9 can be pretty amazing. Do they look reasonable on a man?

I went with the white dial and bought from the same person you found your reference pictures at. Sometimes I think the gold dial would have been a better call but the white/lighter color really gives the watch contrast so I would say go silver

I have to go with champagne (or white). The silver seems like it should go with WG or platinum case/bracelet.

I do not like the contrast of silver on gold. Would go with champagne.

Just broke the dead heat! It was 44 votes for each when I voted silver. This matter is now settled :-)

I prefer silver, never cared much for the champagne dial.

Much prefer the silver. It provides a nice contrast to the gold and they both compliment each other beautifully.

Really appreciate all the feedback!! I’m still really struggling with this choice. I’m edging towards silver most of the time but still feel strongly about champagne too.. I’m a white male, would that play into the decision at all? I’m wondering if champagne would compliment darker skin better and silver more for lighter skin like myself. I found this picture online which really shows off the silver set with diamonds perfectly:

Initially I was going to vote for champagne, but this dial is the ONE. I don稚 usually like diamonds on dials of men watches, but I need to make that exception with this combination!
