Yes def agree it could have even larger texts no problem at all. And I still don't get how some think they aren't placed appropriately. Totally don't see that either!

Watch arrived in the wooden box.

I was a bit disappointed as well. However- I was driving home, car ran out of gas. I simply waved the 5522 over the gas tank and viola! Magically a full tank appeared.

That restored my faith in the reference.

We have been joking about this piece but in terms of a serious review it's utterly fantastic. All those comments about the number eight being in the wrong spot, the Patek being too small, the empty space at the bottom, the car too big – complete utter nonsense.

It's a light timepiece, the size is perfect, it wears so well. I had my 5905 today and when the watch arrived I wore the 5522 the rest of the day. I was working all day so I was in a suit but the Watch fit perfectly with the suit. I think it will be amazing with jeans as well.

The strap is perfect the dial is a great hue of blue. All in all it's an absolute winner. I've repeatedly said I have a 5524 coming but honestly I don't know that the two watches complement each other or they will fight for wrist time. I'll deal with that issue with my 5524 actually arrives. Truly really enjoy this piece.
