Every day I learn something new.

A Ctream/Panna Dial 116520 I know, BUT a Citrus Dial Daytona?

What you think? Here a Sothebys is a fantastic examle coming up for sale, take a look: https://www.sothebys.com/en/buy/auct...-a-3?locale=en

Here is a special thread about the Panna/Crema Dial Daytona https://www.rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=674791

Nothing is 100% but come on... This has to have been altered in some way... Thousands of Pannas out there and this is way off 2 standard deviations... SMH!

Catalogue Note

This Daytona is a very rare variant of the automatic Daytona fitted with a Rolex calibre, reference 116520. Immediately one's eyes are drawn to this highly unusual citrus dial. A similar watch and like this early example, is prominently published in The Ultimate Daytona by Pucci Papaleo on page 71. As with the introduction of a new reference, Rolex sometimes did experiment with different coloured dials that were not chosen for standard production. This watch is fitted one of those dials that has not been offered on the market before. In addition to the highly unusual and pleasing colour of this dial, the watch is complete with accessories and the green factory sticker is still retained on its case back.

Write up says Rolex experimented with different color dials that were not standard production. Given the huge estimate on this piece, I would want something from Rolex saying they did produce this color dial to validate their claim.

‘Thousands of Panna dials out there’.Where?
Total exaggeration, hard to find one for sale in the UK.
Citrus dial is unique.

Have to agree and IMHO complete boswellocks if anything its a artificially aged doctored dial.

I can't remember Rolex ever coming out and validating anything. There has been a discussion on the blueberry for years now and Rolex never admitted or denied making the watch. So I can't see that happening anytime soon

The yellow beach Daytona is not the most famous Daytona.

I was offered a similar citrus creamy 116520 but I didn't like it. The citrus color of the dial just seems not right or unnatural to me, unlike the usual creamy dials. I prefer my ivory P serial Pannas.
