Yes it's a genuine Rolex insert, originally fitted on gold Submariners at the end of the eighties (16808 models). Hard to find though... (because this is a silver lettering insert (not yellow) which was produced for a very short period of time). |

I have a 16610 and am keen for the blue bezel. There is this one on Ebay...is this the way to go for purchase? Any advice on buying the right one? Cheers

I wonder how a YG yachtmaster bezel would look on a regular 16613 blue sub? Any pics or photshops??? Hmmmmmmmm. ;-)

Why would I want to modify a Rolex photo?

I wish I were good with photoshop....I'd love to see what different hands either colored or yachtmaster hands would look like on that Blue bezel/ black face Sub. I was thinking either black, red, or yellow hands could be cool.

Also, do you think it would be possible to put a Milgauss second hand on a submariner or other model? I see the swaps to yachtmaster hands, but I always wonder how that would affect the performance of the timepiece. I am by no means a horologist, so I figure someone that is could chime in.

This has to be of the best threads ever! A thread like this added a much needed pulse for me to be interested again. All I need is someone to teach me to source the oem parts and change them myself!

Speaking of the Submariner PVD and no crown guards, I really like the work on this. Very nice.
