King Tafari,
I'm looking to just get my Daytona's bezel DLP coated but I want the numbers white. Can I ask who or where you got your watch coated? Would they do just the bezel? Also how tough would that coating be for scratching or wear and tear on the bezel? Thanks a lot, Ray |

Just bought this used, RubberB straps with a black dial on a 116520. Feel very pleased with the combo. |

Explorer II and Glidelock
This is my Explorer II with a Glidelock clasp. This watch should have come with this clasp from the outset, but this is a great (but expensive) mod that will live with this watch for the rest of its (and my) life. The last pict is a clasp comparison with the original clasp. The hinge itself is not longer (as commonly believed) but rather the cover is. I have more thoughts posted on this mod here. -Sheldon

That's mine. Blue insert but black dial. Also do the same with my 16800 when it isn't sporting the lv insert.

Love the pics keep em coming might buy another gmt2 and sub older with the holes for ease of removing the bands just to play with ..

Nice pictures....and the courage to really enjoy your purchase. Does anyone know if any of the glide lock bracelets will fit a 16600 sea-dweller. Or if it's just possible to change the glide lock clasp and keep it's original bracelet.
Sorry if this was covered somewhere. |

Here is an updated pic of my modded Rollies.
16700 with an open 6 and 9 date wheel. Originally available on my serial (mine is from 91) but since I added it, it's modded. 1680 with the service dial/hands/insert (originals are tucked away and I have the blue insert as well) 16800 with blue insert, silver date wheel, super lumed matte dial, service super lume hands, 93250 bracelet and AR'd cyclops service crystal. What about a green GMT hand on a 16713? Would you have to paint the original gold one, or could you sub one out from the ceramic version?
