I'm also from the watches@ group and can confirm the gold LE run. I ordered that one and am wondering if I should order another color since I love Bel Canto so much.

I just received an email for Christopher Ward stating that they are raising their prices across the board on April 3rd.

Hopefully they don't raise the total price of the Bel Canto for those of us that already paid a deposit.

From the CW forum it appears that the price at deposit will be honored.

For those who placed an order for the Bel Canto, did you manage to pay in GBP and/or without paying local VAT?

I got my blue dial from the secondary market but my order for the salmon dial was in AU$ and VAT free but free shipping. I expect to have to pay the 10% GST plus paperwork fees on arrival.

Posting this one more time in a different thread as it will probably get more exposure here. If anyone's interested, it appears a member on the Christopher Ward forum will be raffling their Bel Canto Verde (Green) with the assistance of Christopher Ward. The proceeds will be going to their local acute NHS hospital.

They've noted entrants are welcome from any country. I came across the thread while browsing their forum, but I currently can't post links. The title of the thread is "Change of mind, the Bel Canto will be RAFFLED" and its in their general discussions sub-forum.

The raffle is live for the C1 Bel Canto Verde (Green) Limited Edition.

The thread with the link is listed as "RAFFLE LINK Open - C1 Bel Canto Verde Limited Edition" under the Christopher Ward forum's Offtopic sub-forum.

Congrats. This is beautiful. How do you know when you might get delivery? Is CW communicating this on all orders?

I agree - a few were allocated to TRF members when the McLaren owners failed to complete their deposits :-) I wasn't fast enough :-(

Managed to secure one of these, long wait till April 2024..

My Cielo was due this week but at the moment it looks like there will be delays on that one as well. Update should arrive later this week as per their CX

Purple dial for July delivery has been delayed. Guess 2023 is not my year for timepieces. No LM101 purple (was scheduled for July, but tight finances on my end...), and now a delay on the C1 purple too.

My 2023 bday celebration went from the most epic ever... to turning to sh.t :(

Posting here as well:

I was supposed to take delivery of my Bel Canto light blue dial this September, just got informed about production delay. Thought I was so close to having on the wrist.

I ordered mine on December 22, 2022.

Just received this update:

"I hope this finds you well.
I am contacting you personally about a delay to your C1 Bel Canto.
As well as being a stunning example of elite horology, the Bel Canto is an incredibly complicated watch to produce and we have experienced some problems in achieving the quality of finishing of the bridges to our exacting standards.
I’m pleased to say that our technical team, working with our manufacturing partners have overcome these difficulties and we’re now able to increase our production numbers.
However, we are quite a long way behind schedule, meaning there will be a delay on the original date provided to you. Your new delivery date, I can confirm, will now be Jan 2024.

I can only apologise for this delay but hope you will take comfort from our approach as we would never want a watch to be sent that isn’t of the highest standards. The Bel Canto is a very special watch and, despite the extended wait, I am sure you will be delighted once it is finally in your possession."
