I was hoping to sell one my watches due to financial reasons... the two I am thinking about is the Hublot Big Bang DMA11 Maradona Spec or the AP Royal Oak Offshore Volcano Spec.

Both similar prices I believe, ideally I was thinking of holding onto the AP but just thinking with the Mardona it is limited addition (out of 500 made) but is it actually going to hold value later on? Hmmmmm

I wanted to keep hold of at least one of them so I can pass it on to my kids in near future.

What would you do? Any advice or recommendations will be much appreciated.

Hmmm....difficult one. If you are only selling a watch to raise money then surely the AP would raise more cash but could you live with a Hublot knowing that you'd sold an AP? Also, if you're keen to leave a watch as an inheritance would your kids thank you for the Hublot?

Im stuck either way... but my boys are football fans...well so am I. But rather not keep a watch for the sake of Maradona lol

I think AP will keep better value, and would prefer my dad to leave me the AP rather than a Hublot, by far...

Maradona's the great footballer I've ever seen, but I'd still keep the AP, and so will your kids want it too if you teach him about watches.

Joking aside, the AP all the way. The "LE" catering to athletes are all pretty gimmicky. The Volcano is a beauty.
