Tudor Pelagos 25500TN Deepsea What a Mistake

What a Mistake
I had the Deepsea Pelagos in my hands and not for a second it came to my mind to keep it and wear it myself Not sure what I was thinking
Now that I sold it I have my regrets and want one... and the search goes on...

What a true beauty

Very nice but I think it's just a matter of time for you to get your hands on another one...

Yes I need one yesterday too

Its a great looking watch with cutting edge materials and technology!!!!

Maybe one day Rolex will dare to tread where Tudor has marched with confidence.

I have an odd feeling this will not be the last Pelagos to pass through your hands Tony!!

Great to hear your committal on the piece however, and can't wait to see it in person......who knows, the second to pass your hands may be my next acquisition?!?!

Our hobby is all about addition.....and not subtraction :)
I have the Black Bay as my first Tudor and the Pelagos is really on my radar.

Thanks for posting those great photographs Tony.

The Pelagos has a wonderful dial, very clear markers and iconic hands.

Might have been slightly better if the square was the same size as the square markers on the dial. But, then, the hands would have had to have been proportionally thinner, so.....

I don't really go with the 'cartoonish' characterisation on this watch or as some have levelled the same attribute to the 42mm EXII.

These watches are tool watches and they call for large luminous indicies and hands. I actually love the hands on this watch, and if they were any smaller they would not do justice to the tool watch purpose for which the watch was intended.

I guess it is a matter ultimately of personal taste but I'm going this my thumbsup

Also there is a great heritage with these style of hands, and the French military chose the Snowflake over other watches.

It's a remarkable looking watch. But after I saw the comparison thread against the DSSD...I think it's just too big.

For me, at least.

In the recent DSSD comparo, I was really impressed with the Pelagos. It has all of the size and great wrist presence of the DSSD without the insane weight. In addition, I LOVE titanium watches, so it sounds just about perfect to me:)

Good luck finding another one soon, my friend!
