Daytona TT 116503 opinions

I currently have only one Rolex which is SS SubC No Date (plus an Omega PO) and I am about to buy a brand new Daytona TT white dial for 14.300 USD.

I need your advices on;

- whether it’s good for all occasions and practical for daily use
- Do you think if I would lose money in case I sell it in 2 years time in mint condition (I see no Daytonas or any other professional series watches in any combination at ADs recently)
- your opinions on black vs white dial
- I actually used to like pre-ceramic bezel white dial SS one but it started to look too monochrome recently and too much premium to pay for a used/nos. What do you guys think on that?

Thanks

Depends on your occasions and daily activities, but I guess it could well be doing the trick

Probably yes, since TT is quite soft.. but then again things might change
- your opinions on black vs white dial
I guess that is personal. I wouldn’t choose a white on TT but the ceramic steel I prefer with white dial. It all comes down to personal preference

Buy a Daytona steel at MSRP Only, if you can’t wait buy the TT but it shouldn’t be 2nd choice because the itch will stay and you will end up selling it and loose money.
Thanks

Just my 2 cents

Is it good for a daily? I would say that depends on your line or work and your lifestyle. You probably know the answer. But since you have a SubC I would say between the two of them you have a nice combo.

Do I think it will lose value? Yes.

Which dial? I like the white on SS and black on TT. Everyone will have different opinions I'm sure.

If you think the SS is too plain then it sounds like the TT might be a good fit for you. Just my opinion, but I prefer TT in GMT and Sub. But since you already have a 114060 the TT Daytona makes sense.

TT Daytona adds a bit of flair to the collection. 14300 for a new Daytona is a very good price.

Be ready for more scratches and swirls compared to the SS Sub.

The watch isn't as versatile but makes up a good watch for special days.

For that kind of money I would go with Pre owned Zenith.

The reason being, if you end up not liking, easier to flip

I prefer the white.
It is good for all occasions.
Just buy the watch you want.
