In fact neither watch is "dressy".

In short, husband didn’t want to daily his BLRO because it “would not fit on a suit”. I disagree, I think the watch is too pretty to let it sit in the vault and it would work well with any of his suits. He’s just making excuses because he is afraid of scratches.

If it were me, I’d concede to the wife and pick my battle elsewhere.

Besides the thread subject, you need to wear the BLRO and do justice to that beautiful reference!

Even gussied up in gold or jubilee clothes, those are not dressy watches.

The two tone is less overtly sporty.

The better daily?? That is entirely dependent on what your days are like.

The jubilee bracelet and ceramic bezel combination will take daily abuse and look next to new. I cannot think of a better set up for durability and daily wear, provided it looks the part with your attire.

Jubilee is flashy, but it’s versatile and sporty at the same time.

Thank you all for your opinions, much appreciated!
Given the poll win, the BLRO seems to be regarded as the dressier watch of the two. So 1-0 for the wife. Secondly, many said the BLRO should just get more wrist time no matter what, one person would even change jobs just to be able to wear it more 2-0 for the wife. Lastly, many have given the wise advice that the wife is always right. So this gets us to 3-0 for my wife..

I admit defeat and want to acknowledge that any Rolex is just a masterpiece in its own right. The BLRO will get more wrist time, albeit with increased wrist awareness.

Ps. This thread has gotten a lot of views, I suspect because of the red white and blue bikini woman thumbnail. Good thing it wasn’t a picture of my wife, she’s so much more beautiful the amount of views would have overloaded and crashed the website server

In order to get another thumbnail.
This is the Rolex I bought for my wife’s birthday a couple of months ago. I haven’t posted this on TRF before.
