Walked into AD, was shocked to find one

I just walked into one of my local ADs a few weeks back and there sitting in the Tudor Case was a BB58! I haven't been actively looking for one, but when I tried it on it got a hold on me. I think its different enough from my Submariner to justify the purchase. Don't know if others feel this watch is hard to come by same as a SS Rolex? But I think this was a good find nonetheless.

I waited 6 months for a call back from my AD on a BB58 and never got the call. I didn't even wait that long for my BLNR, lol.

Ended up finding one for about $300 under retail, used, so I snagged it. Wearing it right now!

Whats crazy is Grey Market I've seen them as high as $1000 over retail. Which I think is crazy if you can buy it at a discount second hand.

Sounds like the BB58 has been far easier to get in the UK at least...but here in the states, I've yet to see or hear of one at the AD. Inquired about it a year ago and haven't heard a word. During that time, been offered several GMTs and Subs from same AD (picked up the BLNR). Still haven't seen in the metal.

Congrats. Although going by the title I thought you might have stumbled upon a SS sports Rolex :)

Love it! Mine also compliments a 116610ln and it is a very satisfying 2 watch combo. Will not miss my sub too much while it goes out for servicing this week!l thanks to Tudor!

I've only seen one once in an AD. Whether or not it's hard to get it's a great looking piece and nice addition to your collection!
