You guys are such enablers!

You're starting to give me the bug to get an AP. Curious, what's a good deal on a new or used AP percentwise? Is it similar to Rolex, or are the prices more flexible? We looking at 20-25% off new, 35% off used, or what? Thanks a lot you, you.... my mother warned me about guys like you!

I only have one, so I'm not really qualified to speak in regards to discounting on these watches.

However I will tell Mark, I am very impressed with the design and the degree of finishing that goes into these watches.

This one is absolutely spectacular in my opinion.

If you buy from an AD you can get between 15-20% tops. AP Boutiques will not give any discounts. Pre-owned prices vary depending on the piece and the condition. I am the biggest AP fan on this forum and all I can say is that you should join the club. I've been collecting APs since 1998. Love them and they are part of the holy trinity of watchmaking along with Patek and Vacheron.

If you get one you won't regret it. I promise!

Mark, in my experience it's almost exactly like Rolex with the ranges you mentioned.

As most stated, depends.

New 15202 or 15400, don't expect 20%.

What are you thinking about Doc?

25% off in the US on most models is the norm. Good luck and the ROC is a beautiful piece.

25% seems quite steep unless you buy from a gray dealer or one of our trusted sellers. You can't get a 25% off on a Diver at an AD.

I can get 25% off the Diver from my AD right now. I have seen LNIB Divers go for 13k with plenty of warranty remaining.

To the OP make sure you buy right otherwise you will take a bath if you buy new and decide to re-sell.

Hey-hey Mark, no need to leave so soon.

I think you have a VERY good eye, and that chrono would look amazing on your arm, and compliment your Rolex collection

Just do a few extra root canals next week and you could get a Panda to compliment it

Okay I'm back. I have another question...

Are the series alphabetical or random like Rolex? I'm guessing alphabetical, so H series is the latest?

H is the latest one, Works a bit different from Rolex.
Letters running about 4-5 years instead of a new letter each year
