this Ap forum is getting busier! I used to avoid it as i knew it was full of juicy pics of stunning Ap's.

Lets drive more traffic into here and turn some rollie lovers over to the dark side!

I love the AP-divers watch. I saw one, in real life - and i became in love. But im getting a AUDEMARS PIGUET Royal Oak Offshore Scuba "Boutique Edition" Ltd 300 pcs (the red one). is it the same watch, but just a little bit more "custom-made"?

best regards John

It's actually not the same watch at all. The case thickness is different, the Diver is fitted with the cal. 3120 and the Scuba comes with the cal. 2325. Also the material of the strap is different as well as the clasp, where on the Diver it's a buckle type. Above all the most important difference is that the Diver officially meets (and exceeds) the Swiss Watch Industry Norms (NIHS) 92-11 “diver’s watch” standards required for a piece to be considered a true diving tool.

John,
It's an exceptional looking LE piece. Besides the differences mentioned by Hal, the dial, inner bezel, hands, strap, and buckle are different.

I've always been a fan of the Wempe edition ROO Scuba even before the Diver.

I guess the first question you should ask is, do you want a chrono? The rest is easy.
