Thank you Larry! It was a really great day.

We're sitting at 3rd corner as we speak enjoying a few bottles of whatever we grabbed at random.

Saturday afternoon, Eagles, Melanie, Tom Petty and the Traveling Wilburys on the player.
Making Seafood Pizza while I enjoy a few glasses of this lovely Mudgee Shiraz from NSW. Will last longer but so good now.

My wife and I visited a few wineries in Napa in June of 2019. Hope they're all doing okay these last few weeks.

This is very good. Flavourful, spicy with oakey finish.

The Jaraman is reputed to be a nice drop, Jesse. I have 4 of the 2013 which on-line sources tell me requires at least a decade to be drinking at it's best. With a bit of luck I will still be here and drinking reds in a decade.

"In the glass: Deep dark red to black.
On the nose: Fragrant dark cherry and plum fruit lift.
On the palate: Sweet, ripe and juicy with fleshy plum fruit and fresh, well balanced oak fragrance, subtle chocolatey sweetness and savoury hints of spice and game. Really textural and delicious - impossible to put down."

You got it all correct, Rocky! I'm a huge fan of this wine. Well, generally Ozzie reds. Only problem is that I'm having a hard time "cellaring" and keeping this longer. But as per your advise of 10 years I may as well do it.

Then we can compare notes and even toast!

Chur bro!

Opened a bottle of one of my favourite wines last week. Had old friends staying and it seemed like a good idea to drink the only bottle of the 2006 that I had. An excellent vintage that is recommended for drinking around 2030 but what the hell. I have some older vintages of this that I will hang on to longer.
I decanted it a couple of hours before and poured off the very small amount of sediment. It was a bit volatile initially but opened up with more time and the last glass was the best. The top Penfolds reds are very powerful and I always like to give them a bit of time to "take the air".
