Well that's sorted it for you.

So to sum up.

It's not been polished at all.
It's been lightly polished.
It's been polished but not by RSC.
It's been over polished.
It's been ruined and the spring bars are sticking out so much they could take your eye out.

I think it looks fine.

But I'm no expert.

Lol. Isn’t always the way these threads go? It looks pretty good to me, even the crown side lug holes are still nice imo.

The lugs look nice and fat, the bezel edges are sharp, and the crown guards look good.
Looks like a nice watch to me.
It would be interesting to see what the clasp looks like, and bracelet stretch.

It has been polished and in some circles that is terminal.

Based on that, it depends on what you can accept.

Dont let the TRF grumps get to you, its better than 90% of the 5 digit subs out there.

Have to agree, the spring bars are deep within the lugs. Over polishing usually results in the tip of one or both sides poking out a bit.

I've decided that I'm going to pull the trigger on this one and purchase it. Thank you for all the input, it really helped me with my decision.

The chamfers on those lug hold indicate very little case polishing to me.

If spring bars poke out of lug holes then it’s more likely the wrong spring bars have been used.
If the correct spring bars do poke out then over polishing would be clearly seen as >0.5mm of steel would have been removed?

If you like it and the price is comfortable for you then buy it and wear it. That is the point of owning a watch after all.
