To pass on to the next generation
Maybe I'm crazy but I actually thought about which watch I would wear on the day my first child was born, which was yesterday. I wanted to make sure it will never be flipped and able to stand the test of time with regards styling and quality. I think my daughter will enjoy this watch down the track as her own.
The time was 9.32. She was born at 9.55. Nothing like a cesarean for speediness. |

Congratulations Michael on your new addition. It is a very special thing to hold and cherish a fine timepiece knowing that you will be passing on to your sons or daughters. I have one of each and I suspect the bulk of my time pieces will eventually go to my son as he is most interested in watches now anyway. My wife keeps suggesting that I could also give some of my collection to my daughter's future husband...whoever that may be. But I have a hard time thinking about passing my collection down to that future but currently unknown, unappreciative, disrespectful, lazy, son-in-law....
For now, I buy what I want!
