Guys....

Bearing in mind how quickly things get booked up around Christmas I thought it might prove prudent to plan ahead.

Bearing in mind we'll all have family, friend & work commitments too I'm thinking maybe a Saturday in mid/late November or early December could prove favourite, & for 'user-friendliness' I personally favour The Dickens again but obviously I'd value everybodys input & opinions.

So........ thoughts please anyone??

I would suggest earlier the better - as the office and "client" xmas parties are definitely in full swing by December.

I think this time I will get to town a few hours earlier and do the new Rolex store and the Burlington. I know some of us missed out on the Super Sunday on the last GTG and we are still kicking ourselves

Just looked & it's nearly £200 for a night now!

Cheapest price I've found for The mint is £165.....

The Tower (right on Marble Quay & underneath Tower Bridge) is similar money & IMO an even better location.

Shall we commit to Saturday 12th November then chaps so we can get looking for hotels etc?

FANTASTIC!!!!

we're cooking with gas now so 12th November's confirmed!!!

I've also been looking at hotel prices & The Mint's rocketed so I'm going to stick my neck out & recommend 'The Tower' .....

(MID-POST UPDATE!)

In fact I've just BOOKED at The Tower & got a Double Deluxe room for £154.80 including vat (The Mint is now £230.40 for a standard double) & although there were a couple of 'agency/broker type' websites that offered the same price I've booked direct with the hotel at

They had cheaper/dearer rooms so I'm sure there'll be something to suit everyone's budget!

I'll also get hold of The Dickens Inn & see if I can grab us the same area.....

so all that leaves is food!
