Sapphire sandwich incoming

I bought the speedy. Got it on eBay, had stickers. So far really like the bracelet look, but adjusting to the chrono, especially the big hand that isn’t for seconds has been a bit of a nuisance. But otherwise pretty happy. Will be a good watch to travel with.

lol all nice chronos have the big hand that only moves with the stop watch. You could always just start it and keep it moving if you desired.

Beautiful watch. As the post above me says, just keep the chrono turned on and use it as a seconds hand if you prefer. Sync it up with the running seconds subdial.

Congratulations

The chrono hand is so useful and as stated above, you can let it run and enjoy it as a seconds hand.

Congratulations! My favourite complication is for sure the Chronograph. You'll have a lot of fun with this one!

You'll get used to the seconds chrono hand not moving, and not really mind it. You tend to 'ignore' it after wearing it a while until you need it.

I actually have a Seamaster Chrono with a central seconds AND minute hand for the chrono that doesn't move, which took me even longer to get used to.

Lovely watch. Some good Speedmaster 3861 bargains on eBay recently.

Why buy a chronograph if you don’t like the chronograph counter hand? You will get used to it if it’s your first chronograph. Hopefully you will learn to enjoy the technical marvel of or chronograph watch even though likely limited utility in most cases.

Nice Omega

At one point a few years ago I owned a Datejust and a Speedmaster Pro. Shoulda' just sat tight with those two because they really make a great pair to choose from each morning.

Congrats, it’s a stunning piece. Never get tired of looking at it. Rivals my Daytona.

Tried one on today at the new Teddy Baldasserre store in Ohio . Most comfortable and best fitting watch I’ve had on.
