People saying they wore theirs for 4+ years straight - what about cleaning, changing the time for daylight savings, and changing the date?

I’ve gone maybe two weeks or so with a 214270 and a 14060 without removing. When scratches started showing up on my face i had to stop sleeping with them on.

I rarely wear the same watch two consecutive days except when in the honeymoon phase. I wear an Isobrite at night to see the time well.

When I got my first Rolex in the 70's I wore it 24/7 for a few years but that doesn't count for the question posed herein. FWIW that watch took all I gave it and never missed a beat.

I take my Polar on holiday and I don't take it off. My personal "record" is 39 consecutive days.

Need to change the time too frequently for time zone changes to rack up any serious length of time.

Longest was approx 7 days though for uninterrupted 24/7 wear.

I imagine even on a great time keeper of +\-1s per day, the time could be well out after years of wear unless it’s adjusted whilst on the wrist.

Average rotation is one week for me, sometimes I can’t be bothered to swap so it goes an extra week.
