Long forgotten "Rulex"
Hi all,
Was hoping some of you Rolex addicts could help me out before I go venture some bloke's shop and ask him this embarrassing question. About 3-4 years ago I went to Corn Street Market in Bristol (best place to get Rolex, right?) to check out some vinyls and bumped into old gentleman who was selling bunch of watches (mainly Sekondas, Seikos, etc) one of them being this beauty - paid only about £30 I think, as gentlemen conveniently couldn't advise me if Rolex was genuine, but at least he was honest. I got it off of him and chuck it in my drawer knowing that I will do what I am doing now at some point. Can you have a look on the attached and let me know if it's at least decent fake cause there's no chance in hell that this is original. Been told and read that Daytonas are the most common fake Rolexes so here goes nothing. Thanks for your input, rock you Rolexes proudly my friends. P.S. Just found out I have to have 10 posts to be able to post links - honestly I'm not on enough income to have a decent real Rolex, my posts here would be meaningless, just trying to find out this one thing, please check this extension on imgur and there are 4 spanking photos of this beauty or let me know how can I upload them so you can see them here. /5lKhjEz |

Photos can be uploaded directly using the paperclip icon.
Images must meet the size requirements listed in the attachment menu.

There's one confident vote against, I respect that and appreciate it. Managed to upload shrinked photos if anyone wants to have another look and come up with another name for junk.
Thanks again folks. |

I like the 18k stamp on the bracelet. Must be good steel.

It smells of rice terribly. A fatal fake.

Why is there double-sided tape / residue on the clasp?

That watch is what you'd find from the seller on the beach of Marbella telling you it's good quality and to pay 50 EUR for it...

Similar day date Daytona fake as used in kill bill 2
Conclusively You can be certain this is a fake by the relationship and position of the “C E” in the word certified on the dial. This is such an obvious tell I am shocked the OP posted the question. what was likely clear and apparent at the time of purchase was the watch was either fake or stolen.

Wooow, a day date 18K black steel Daytona
The manufacturer of this piece of art didn't even bother looking at a pic of the original watch |
