5711 platinum diamond bezel

Any idea how many they produce per year and what is the 'retail' price of such a piece?

Thank you,

My ad ordered a 5990/1400g (The full diamond 5990 white gold) and was able to get a 5711p emerald for the buyer. There are 3 in production, the sapphire (most commonly seen), ruby and emerald. They made a baguette diamond variant but i believe that is no longer available along with the white dial versions

White dial, sapphires is the one to get. The grey dial is mehhh fortunately chance of allocation zero so no need to sweat and can look at other watches. Considering 5711P sold for $350. Paying an extra $100k for diamonds looks like a bargain

Do you know how many they produce ? I've seen that everyone on instagram says that it is a limited run of 5 watches per bezel. Is it a limited run or a limited production? I guess, as they do with all other pieces, that one year is diamonds, next is emeralds etc... Then they change the dial color

As Josh mentioned above there are generally more of them than the official numbers. A perfect example was the London edition 3940-29. We were told only 5 were produced but in reality more than 5 were produced. Collectors and grey dealers have realized this and recently Michael Ashton advertised one saying less than 20 examples were known.

20 still better than 700. It’s unbelievable that a 5711 40th sold for 350 usd.
No wonder these limited run models , wt diamond/emerald/... bezels, sell for 400 usd.

And I sourced one directly from a dealer in the UK with no prior purchase history and at MRSP and it was around £63k before the VAT refund. U dont find LE of 5 lying in AD safes

The retail price of the 5711 platinum case bezel set with sapphires, diamonds and rubies are around CHF 150k
Emerald is around CHF 250k

And clearly they made more than 5 of each although between the white and black dial models the least produced were the white dial ones.

Why is there a difference in price between a diamond bezel and an emerald one? I would have guessed that diamonds are more expensive.

They are all still in production. There are way more than 5. My AD received just one last year, a ruby with black dial. He's expecting another one next year. Zero for this year. Difficult to obtain but if your AD is willing to work out for you given your strong purchase record, it is very possible.

If I can choose, I will go for 5980/1400g instead.

5990/1400g is priced at 890k CHF.

5990/1400G seems like insane madness, but still incredible. Would love to see how much it weighs.

(I'd be all over a 5990/1P if they ever make one. Give me a 350g paperweight on my wrist, please!)
