Incoming SBGR307

Received this SBGR a little over a week ago. Went with this model since it’s 42mm and I’ve got large wrists. I kind of regret it since the omega AT below I also just received is 41 and it fits perfect. If I would have known that, I would have gone for a spring drive model instead. But that is a minor regret as I still love this model. The way light reflects off the dial markers makes it more blingy than pictures suggest, but in a good way and not over the top.

With these 2 additions I’m set for awhile. They are practically twins with exception of the dial colors. At some point year or years down the road I’d like to get the black dial explorer 1. Will basically be the same watch but different brands and white/black/and blue dials.

40mm is big for a dress watch. 42mm is huge.

Thanks all!

Not big for me. I’m 6’8” with a wrist >8in. This fit just right for me. I refuse to buy any watches <40in as they all just look “off” on me. I’d say a 42 on me wears pretty similar to a 39 on most normal sized people.

Strange comment on an incoming thread......as for the substance of the comment, it’s all relative. And who says these are dress watches, anyway?

Congrats on the addition! Wrist shots always look different than reality. Don't sweat the size comments.

GS SBGR models 42mm wear like 40mm. Due to lug to lug @47.8mm.
