I mean it’s a cool looking watch. I’d immagine whoever can pull it off would wear it really well.

It’s kind of cool in terms of curiosity sake or maybe if you’re a collector but the reality of the lug to lug length would be something else. Be like wearing a kayak on the wrist!

Could become a short run piece where it is a prosuction of the fake/real prototype. That be cool

....yeah....

Curiosity piqued, ....I'm definitely wanting to see one in real life and try it on to either be pleasantly surprised or have prejudices confirmed...If nothing else, it's certainly generating a lot of interest and chatter....so kudos Tudor !

Looking at the backside and the lugs, I think he's right and you can't take it all off and simply put it on a nato.

Then again, it would be stupid if you couldn't remove it and if it does break then you need to be able to replace it. So we'll see.
You could be right as the endlink is integral in controlling the bezel. I wonder what the bezel would be like with out the endlink clasp action?

Agree. Tudors gotta do something for those willing to actually put their money on the table.

Now that it's being seen in the metal. it's great.

My only concern is if the straps are long enough. OEM Tudor straps are too short.

It's barely leather. It looks very similar to a Hirsch Performance strap, like the "James," which is essentially a rubber strap with a thin leather veneer on the top, and those are supposedly good to 300m.

Like most, I was disappointed that Tudor didn't release what I was hoping for, but I'm starting to warm to this silly watch. Like others have said, it has a kind of Ploprof-level ridiculousness to it, and Hirsch Performance straps have been my favorite way to wear a watch for years.

its weird. I noticed the same thing on my black bay where the fabric is small and the bracelet is huge. way longer than a rolex bracelet. Plus i have pretty normal wrists and i think i only have one removable link left. I dont get it

Sorry, but I have to ask: did the P01 come out yet? I can’t find any updates on the net.

The end links and strap are ugly. I think it would look great on a heavy nato.

I don't understand this watch at all. I don't see the need or aesthetics. A summary of my thoughts follows.

FWIW, I gave the P01 a test drive this past TudorThursday but I just can't cope with the asymmetrical case and thanks to the lug-lengths & "end links" (if that's what we can call them), you'll need a pretty big wrist to successfully pull it off...

That's my feeling / prediction, particularly if Tudor makes it a very short run... . I was considering buying just for that reason but at the end of the day, I'm not a speculator and if I don't want to wear a watch, I'm not going to buy it...

After to handle P01, it has more to do with Rolex
in term of dna than to Tudor.
The folding buckle is perfectly crafted and very
easy to use, I mean to open close the buckle and
to size the rubber. The look is very vintage especially
the index just applied, the curved dial and top
hat saphir.Trying it, it is very comfortable to wear,
not heavy at all, have something of the Panerai style.
Movement is top notch.Crown is triple lock, feeling and quality more like the Sub or DeepSea than the Pelagos who look like cheap,in spite it is reliable.

In short pics don t give justice to P01,
have to be handled in real, a true beast.
In the short term we maybe will talk a lot
about the P01.Probably will be very limited
production look like an allocation watch.

It’s ugly AF imho and it might be a future classic in v limited run but I won’t wear it so I’ll leave it to those that will.

Thx for sharing. Ur opinion is one of few I value around here.

Haven’t had a chance to check it out in person, yet.

While this watch isn’t for me, I did see one in an AD’s case yesterday afternoon.

Happy to steer someone looking for the watch in the right direction...just PM me and I’ll send you the location.

Agree - Tudor should do more "naked" plots - it's a killer look

Thank you, sir I would however like to persuade you and anyone else remotely curious about the P01 to try to handle one in person. Again, if my wrists were a bit thicker, I might have a different outlook. It's definitely an original and there are definitely enough models with "standard" black-bay-cases out there. I can't imagine how Tudor will manage to produce more for 2020 aside from more "BB58" for those who prefer traditionally-sized cases...
