I just got a dd40 same set up as yours. Wife was busting my butt all day yesterday. Why do you keep looking at your wrist I said I just think it is the perfect watch

Leaning towards keeping it more and more the way it looks until my darn kid came up and said hey dad you got a new watch....and I say...Yes sir what do you think and he says ......"why is it so small".........man really got in my head, but I keep telling myself stop comparing to a DJII, its a different watch in a league of its own..Its classy and of the times when life was different...some might argue better..(myself),,,,,

and thats why its nice to have two different watches..you get both of best worlds like this...and I can always add in later.

That bracelet off to the side was a bracelet I bought a couple of years ago. Since the president was my “ one day I will buy grail watch” ...I bought this bracelet to fill the void and prepare for the day that I had a DD. I thought it would be a nice to touch to have a matching gold bracelet to compliment such a beautiful watch. It is 14k though so it’s not a color perfect match but.....close enough.

This is a great looking older piece. I really love that dial too with the thin romans. I would really like to find a dial like that for mine as I have the black stick dial now.

Beautiful watch! I used to have one like that years ago. The 18238 was more comfortable that the 118238 to me at the time. Beautiful white dial.
