help needed with cleaning bracelet.

sorry guys its not a Rolex but I posted it for advice in non-rolex forum but two days and nineteen viewings later still haven't got a single suggestion so I am putting it here...plz tell me how to clear off the desk-scratches this Certina has acquired due to regular use...its brushed finish and only the twelve o'clock side has the scratches...for comparison, I am posting pics of twelve o'clock and six o'clock sides...tell me how you guys get rid of such scratches...

thnx a lot.

p.s. I know some would suggest to keep itlike this...even I guess I would but its my brother's and he wants it to be like the six o'clock end neat

That doesnt look like I can be "cleaned" but rather needs to be polished by an electrical rotary device. Your best bet is to go to a local watchmaker/jeweler who polishes watches and bracelets. Should cost you more than $100. Thats a baadddd rash ouch

thank you so much for the advices guys but just pressing a little bit of luck can i smooth it out with a scotch brite pad and toothpaste+brush kind of stuff cuz really I've seen guys here get rid of such scratches with that kind of stuff and also it really doesn't look so bad in real life...the pictures magnify it a bit too well...caught all the light angles...

and getting those ofrei cleaners from net all the way here to Pakistan is rather tough...whats so special about them?..I mean can I use any similar looking pads available in market around here.

thank you once again for putting up with my whims :)

We tell you how to use a Scotch Brite pad over on the Rolex Reference Library pages under the Amateur Watchmakers Corner..
