Question about Yacht Master 35mm
Hello,
Are there any men out there who have purchased the YM 35mm? Any regret for not buying the large 40mm version? Thanks |

My dad had always thought about it because he has small wrists. However, when I gave him his sub, he said it felt just right and he was glad he did not go smaller

I see the Mid-size YM on men all the time in my travels around the world.. They are popular with businessmen in Hawaii; I have also seen quite a few in Hong-Kong, Singapore, and along the Pacific US coast...
At 35mm, they are bigger than the typical mans dress watch of 33mm (with the exception of the recent younger generation "big-watch" fascination) that has been a standard size for decades, and almost exactly the same size as a DateJust or Day Date.. If you look at a spring bar for a Rolex, it is 2mm thick........This means that the Mid YM is only smaller by the thickness of a springbar on each side from the full-size, and is indistinguishable in size from the Date-Just and DayDate....... If you are not into big watches, and you like the look of the YM, this may be the watch for you...............

My wrist are small I think for a guy. When I purchased my Cartier francaise I choose the mid sized on and it has been fine. But with my first Rolex it seems like it should be big. What is a "she-WIS"

I colleague of mine here just bought a mid-sized YM. He has small wrists, and it looks normal in proportion to his arm. Because of that, you don't really notice the difference. I think he is very happy with his choice.
