I'd speak to the AD and have them make it right. I wouldn't be happy with that result at all..

Good luck and hopefully this hasn't detracted from you enjoying the watch

Unacceptable!
Don't do it yourself, force them to send it to Rolex service center to replace the screws and republish the links. Don't mess with it yourself and make the problem worse, then it's all on you. I'm not sure about the laws in the UAE but personally, I would take them to small claims court if unwilling to remedy the situation; that's a last resort for me though.

It is heavy handed, to be sure. Unfortunately, this sort of thing happens all too frequently.

Which all points to the fact that the right screwdriver makes all the difference with this procedure.

Alternatively to getting new screws, you could have the tops of the screw heads polished down.

I'm all for doing it oneself provided you have the following:

1) Jig to hold the watch and bracelet
2) Correct heating method to release the Loctite
3) Correctly sized and beveled screw driver
4) Correct Loctite for fastening the screws correctly.

In my case I've got none of the above so a trusted AD is the best I can do easily. Mine did a perfect job yesterday on my SD4K. Previously on my SkyD as well. It sounds as if someone at the AD who botched this job is covering their behind. I'd make certain they were held accountable since they obviously don't know what they're doing.

That needs to be made right. No matter what you pay you bought the watch and it should be in new condition after being sized.
