I’d like to see this! Especially without a date, but you are right, it would be very hard to come by from AD’s, and a $20k+ watch on the grey market right off the bat. I’d also like to see them get rid of the cyclops on SD 43.

I play the game. My predictions:

1. 116710BLNR; 116710LN; 116718LN - Discontinue
2. More GMT's with new colors including new Coke
3. Maybe update of all Subs with new 3235 caliber and some new colors. But
this is a long shot.

I'd love a red bezel and dial SubC, or else a blue bezel and dial SubC...both SS instead of the unattainably high-priced gold models

I think the fair would only get cancelled if Rolex pulled out.

They are a big enough draw on their own - be honest can anyone remember what the big release of 2016 or 2017 was from any of the Swatch group of companies?

Me neither, but everyone remembers the SS Ceramic Daytona of '16 & the SD43 in '17.

Basel will happen in '19 whilever Rolex are still involved.

Basel 2019: Today's low-to-zero inventory situation is in fact just the first step to Rolex moving its entire production line into cyberspace. After 2019, in order to disenfranchise the greys, no more physical watches will be produced or sold. Instead, customers will aspire to own a VR version of their desired Rolex.
