Sub or SD43?Just a fun polling exercise...

Friends,

Which would you keep and why? Feel like keeping both would be redundant.

Appreciate your insights!!

I'm a ND guy when it comes to my Subs. In your position and assuming size doesn't matter I'd say keep the SD43 for aesthetics and even more superior diver qualities. (or at least bragging rites).

I’d keep the Sea Dweller. Perfect proportions!

To me it's purely down to looks and being biased I vote for the SD43, but there's no bad choice.

I gotta throw my hat in with the sub. Like many here always say, it's the classic, the icon. But they're both beautiful and you have them both already, so, there's no harm in keeping both! :)

Redundant ? Totally different on the wrist. Of course, the look is very much the same.
I’d keep the SD43 if forced to choose, but coming back to the question - depends on your wrist..

That's what I meant.. the look is very similar but agree that they both fit differently on the wrist.

Second this.

If the new iteration of the Sub comes with a case reminiscent of the 5-digit model, I'd probably lean toward the sub.

this between those 2 probably will keep the SD 43, between 114060 and those , the No date hands down.

Interesting you say that - had the SD43 not had the cyclops I would certainly want to keep both... so now I'm thinking I may want to switch to no date sub as you say and resolve this dilemma..

Keep the sd43...I think (tough choice)

Strangely the Sub looks bigger than the sd43 is your picture. Had to do a double-take. It's the lugs.

Sterling collection - For me it would be the SD43 all day long.

Agree keeping both would be redundant. I'd keep the SD43, it's the better diver imo. If you want a sub too then I'd move on from the black sub and pick up a Hulk to avoid the redundancy. As an owner of a SD43, that's my plan.

Gotta go with what feels best and looks best on your wrist

personally I agree with Nick. Submariner and SD43 are perfect pair.

Sd43 if it wears well on you

I like the red text and the fully graduated bezel
