IMHO both brands although in general good straps but very over priced for what they are, but like most things today once the name Rolex is involved the price automatically quadruples.

I use RubberB. Well fitted at the ears. Unfortunately, quite stiff and strongly profiled, which fits on smaller wrists. Minus - large spacing of holes, every 7mm. In this respect, Everest is better.

And the original Rolex rubber (here in the photo) from the new YM qualitatively kills both rubbers from the query OP.

Thanks for the replies, everyone! I made this thread last night then fell asleep haha...

I agree that the main difference seems to be the curvature of the strap below the lugs. The rubberb fits me well for all intents and purposes though, so I'll keep it on for now.

The price IS steep @ $250 USD. And when you get the strap, it's hard to justify the price initially. But I did some research on how they make the straps; the r+d involved to get them to fit exactly right. I kind of understand why they have to charge so much, but do still think they could be cheaper...

Of course it does. But until Rolex decides to put the OF on a sub, I’ll have to continue my search.

This alone will probably seal the deal for me since both seem to get good reviews. Thanks for the response.

I am partial to the Robber B on this one. I prefer the tang buckle as I like to keep the bracelet intact and uniform.

IMO these straps make the watches look cheap. If that's what you want (e.g. you don't want to attract attention), go for it.

I had a Rubber B I somehow managed to lose and just recently replaced it with an Everest because it was cheaper and they had the 15% off coipon. They’re pretty much identical in my opinion.

Personally, I find the Oyster bracelet on the 116610LN to be uncomfortable. I usually run mine on an Everest strap with tang buckle.

Word of caution, use blue loctite on the tang screw. Mine came loose while kayaking in La Jolla and damn near consigned my Submariner to Davy Jones Locker.

I wear rubber straps for only one reason; I'm swimming in the ocean and they feel better to me for that. Also less likelihood of scratching up my oyster.

I can vouch for Everest. I got exactly what I paid for. Excellent fit and finish, and comfortable on the wrists. I don't imagine either one to be materially different from one another, barring color shades and pricing.

Both excellent products but I like the RubberB shape more. The profile is less round than the Everest which always looks like a rubber bangle to me due it how it wraps around the wrist.

Just put a RubberB on my TT SD43. First one I have bought and very happy with it.

RubberB on a Milgauss. Initially I thought they were crazy asking 250-300 bucks for a rubber strap, but after getting it and swing how exact the tolerances are to the watch, I now understand why they cost so much.

I agree..that the rubber straps do NOT enhance the overall look of a Rolex.

The issue I have with round profile of Everest rubber straps is most notable in photos. On your wrist you probably wont notice much and the fit is very comfortable. I think I am in the minority here because I haven’t really seen anyone mention the same thing. Don’t worry!

The are both good. I don’t change straps on any of my watches except APs - and just my Offshores.

If I would choose between the two I think I’d go for the Rubber B. I like the slimmer appearance.

I had the RubberB and found it to uncomfortable, I tried the OysterFlex once and it felt much better. Looks stunning on those watches here btw!
