Jaw drop

A little earlier I was meeting with my family for dinner and stopped in the Rolex AD next door. Had a decent selection in their case and I was just browsing. I noticed the guy next to me wearing a hulk, which is always nice to see someone wearing out and about. The SA told him he had another sub for him, so I stuck around for a minute to see what he brought out and wow glad I did. He brought out an 116659sabr. Really impressive to see in person. Now it makes sense why the guy was wearing a hulk.

Jaw drop indeed. I once watched a guy take delivery of a YG YMII and on the spot place an order for a RG Sky D. It's hard to compete with that so you have to be charming to make up for less spending

I was like wtf is a sabr, I had to look it up, indeed special. I like how the first nine sapphires are light blue, representing the classic dive bezel graduated for decompression times. Rolex gem setting and quality is top notch.

I always find these special gemset ones are a true stunner. I don't think I could ever own one though....a little to flashy for my persosnal tastes!

I tried this on last December while in Guadalajara Mexico, beautiful watch, but I passed on it for 125k. I don’t think it’s the next Rainbow Daytona...
