The photograph was taken from a prestigious English vintage sales website. This watch is actually for sale

I have not as yet been minded to do this to my 1655. My 1655 is safe........for the moment, although it does have a ding on the edge of the lug that I am extremely upset about

I think that look would be "murdered out" if we were using car-speak. They say that about cars that have a matte black paint job and black wheels.

Maybe the seller can tint the plexi dark to complete the look. LOL

I don't know how I feel about that. It's growing on me with the current models, but I'm not sure I would do the coating on a vintage model.

Actually it doesn't look half bad, there are some other sites on the web that you can find that have more current watches like sub's and the like that are like that, very "under the radar" if you ask me, and looks pretty good
