black dial 1803, what do you thinK?

Hi, Guys:

come across this DD with nice black dial and quarter marker, need some advice before I... (you know)
* dial original?
* movement correct?

nice looking! no expert though, you'd have to wait for them to show up.

you didnt find this in malaysia did you? there aren't any good vintage shops here to my knowledge...

A gold watch with a black dial and black strap is the perfect combination from a visual perspective. I have never seen that combo on a Rolex like yours.

By the way, what's a quarter marker?

Yes, as far as I can tell. Or at least a tritium service dial. What do you think?

It all looks OK to me.
The lume looks a bit green to me though, I think a service dial maybe?

How much is it, if you don't mind me asking?

look good to me too...seller 'guarantees' it is all original, untouched
but, from seller description, payment by bank wired only

Notice how the whole case is brushed even the space between the lugs that should be shinny. Case is worn. I have a far better 1803 in my case for $3350. notice the 10 o'clock lug. Nearly refinished even with the level of metal between the lugs.
