DJ 1601 back from service
Hi all, just had my DJ 1601 serial no 1973562 serviced by the Rolex agent here in Cape Town South Africa - Chronos - Very happy with the outcome, he said it had only had 2 prior services pre 1980 , it looks as good as new, not bad for a 45 yr old watch , and keeps time to the second , here is a before and some after photographs , the service cost the eqiv of $400 cheers Jonathan Cape Town

Looking great.
Well worth the money in my opinion. Mine came back looking like new again after it's recent service. Built to last....the classic DJ. |

Good looking watch Jonathan!
I saw a 16610 last week that Chronos restored/serviced. I inspected it carefully with my 10x loupe, and it was flawless. |
