P Serial 16618 Rolex All gold Sub HELP PLEASE

Hi all,

I am working with a trusted buyer but I need some advice and background. I am looking a trading a hulk and a 18238 for a Mint P Serial all gold pretty 99% mint box and papers. My one question in the insert on the Gold sub has white numbers. I am not as familiar with this. Can someone advise pictures below.

Thank you!

Sometimes the gold numbers on these Submariner inserts fade from gold to silver. A quick check to determine if the insert is correct would be to look at the pearl. If the metal around the pearl is a silver color, the insert was originally for a stainless steel model. If the metal around the pearl is gold, it could be a correct insert where the numbers have faded from gold to silver.

Just in case you don't know, it should have left the main agent in a different, bigger box and not that standard one for lesser models.

PS: if you don't like the bezel insert color, for a small cost you can get a brand new one.

OP, it's a beautiful piece, but you're trading two watches. Why not go for a six digit ?

I kept my Hulk and traded an 116000 and my 18238.

So now I'm down to 4 watches
Hulk
Batman
16618
Tudor BB 36

I love the non maxi case in the 16618
:)

Sorry Behardt I mean this for AL1969
