1675 - considering buying - experts needed
Hi
Im in for my first vintage gmt. I have found a 1675 from 68. The dial is a MK3 and the movement is the 1575. The bracelet 78360 is from 95. the overall condition of the watch looks great. The asking price is 10000 USD. Does this sound as a fair price? Thank a lot! |

The watch is what many of us refer to as a "service watch."
It has a service dial, hands, bezel insert and bracelet.

It would bother me that everything else has a patina but the hands don't...

I suppose it is considered a fair price currently however I cannot justify paying $10k when these were only $3000 a couple years ago

I would pass. Top crown guard polished down, service hands etc.
Keep looking. |

I know it's an old thread, but what is a fair price for a 1675 "service watch" these days? I have been pondering getting one for daily wear.

Depending on case condition and service history - with an "above average" case and service dial, hands insert and bracelet - around $7000 to $8,000.
