New acquisition, first Panerai

I never considered this brand before. I was on Rolex, AP, Patek, Omega, etc but never Panerai. I am extremely impressed with this piece.

This is not the best picture as the watch looks huge on my wrist but In real life, it fits beautifully and is one of my most comfortable pieces.

Congrats on acquiring an excellent timepiece, and welcome to the addiction! The 654 is gorgeous! Now all you need to do is to attend the next Paneristi gathering and you'll be on the road to your next piece!!!

I need no help feeding the addiction! I’ll keep an eye out for news on gatherings.

Dial looks crisp! Bright hand beautiful. Congrats

Question on the minute sundial. Does it skip forward like a quartz once the center sweeping second hand goes around or does it slowly move forward?

Congrats! I prefer a darker dial but the white dial looks perfect here.

It skips forward like the Speedy pro. Very cool feature. I will shoot a video when I get home tonight.

Very cool chrono. I thought the sundial was the min marker. The sundial is an hour marker and the second good long hand is a center dial min counter. Very nice.

If they made in a radiomir, I’d be strongly tempted.
